The humble beginnings of Foxland Harvestore Inc. began with a complex invention based on a simple idea from A.O Smith. Essentially, the towering blue Harvestore was born as a structure lying flat on the ground. The bolted steel structures were designed as beer vats until a farmer suggested to A.O Smith that maybe the oxygen-limiting capability of the steel structures, if tipped up like the typical concrete silo of the ‘40s, could greatly benefit the feed value of farmer’s crops. After it was decided that these steel structures had a place in advanced feed, the agricultural industry was changed forever.

As Harvestore dealerships across Wisconsin grew over time, it became clear in 1976 to the new Foxland Harvestore dealership that providing dairy producers with outstanding products, like the Harvestore, needed to be backed with even more outstanding service. Since Foxland opened their doors in the mid-seventies and as technological advances in the dairy industry continue to grow today, the premise of providing great products backed by great service remains the same.
